A Brief Description of the Armenian Genocide

The Armenian Genocide was a time of mass murder back in 1915. The Armenians were killed in their own territory because the government thought that they were a threat. Over 1.5 million were killed during that day.

During the Armenian Genocide, the Ottoman Empire had many non-Muslim people and many Christians that, unfortunately, "were viewed as outsiders" The Armenians were starting to become feared by the Ottoman Leader because "he feared that it might lead to a bid for independence from the empire, as had occurred in the Balkan countries" So, he had bandits attack them which killed many, many Armenians.
